In this video I try to examine the detail one of Brian Oglesbee's incredible photographs. This photo, and many others will be published in his book Aquatique.

These are some MTV spots I did for Goodlookin'. The idea was to capture the quality of an old Aspirin commercial, in both the look and sound of the spot. They did a great job degrading the HD video, and I think the audio completes it's believability.

This is some of the stuff that I've produced recently. The majority of it is actually written and recorded by me as well. You will find a full version of a couple of the tracks below in the blog.

This is a little experiment I did to try and express a dream I keep having. The wonders of sound fx libraries! I recommend wearing headphones if they are available.

This is a project I did for MTV Stew. The animation was designed and created by Goodlookin'. I created all the sound design for the piece, as well as mixed and mastered it. Basically everything you hear. I love the animation!

This was a sound design project I did for the Goodlookin' logo. The animation for this project was pretty awesome. Fun!

Here's a remix I did for my friends DATAROCK. The track is called "Princess". It was off their self titled debut record and was one of my favorites so I asked if I could do a remix for then and they agreed. I'm happy to see it's been getting some very nice attention on the net, and hopefully it will be released officially sometime soon.

This was a commercial for the 10th anniversary of the Big 12 Conference to which I composed, mixed and mastered the score. This was for Big Star.

In December I flew out to Denver to film and record a show for Dilated Peoples. I tracked the whole thing on Logic. We shot it with four cameras, one of which I was operating next to my sound rig in the back. After getting back to NY, I edited the show, mixed and mastered the audio (7 channels in total, including the ambient mics I placed for capturing the crowd). It will be appearing in an upcoming DVD release that will be put out by DECON.

This was an interesting project I did for Neverstop. They were doing a marketing campaign for UNIQLO which involved setting up two large shipping crates that they had converted into mobile stores. They were set up in various locations around NYC, however we chose to film them in Union Square. We shot the whole day, and created this timelapsed video. The music is a song from Röyksopp called "Triumphant."

Okayplayer held a contest in late 2005 to remix Zap Mama's "Yelling Away". I thought the track I submitted came out pretty well. Apparently so did they because I won!
